Over P648,000 worth of meth seized from 2 suspects in Quezon drug busts

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested two alleged drug pushers early Sunday (April 14) and seized more than P648,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Quezon.

Colonel Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, reported that anti-îllégâl drugs operatives nabbed at 2:17 a.m. a certain “Inok,” 29, after he sold P1,000 worth of shabu to a police agent in Barangay (village) Isabang.

Authorities confiscated from the suspect, reportedly a newbie in the îllégâl drug trade, three plastic sachets containing 26 grams of meth worth P176,800, per the estimate of the Dangerous Drugs Board.

It is worth P530,400 in the street market at the prevailing price of P20,400 per gram, the report said.

The police also confiscated a tricycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his îllégâl drug activities.

In Tiaong town, local drug enforcers also collared “Alvin,” 34, in a sting operation in Barangay Talisay around 2:30 a.m.

The suspect yielded five sachets of shabu with a street value of more than P117,000.

The suspect is included in the police drug watch list as a street-level drug pusher.

Both suspects were detained and are facing complaints for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

hehe hindi yan ang argument ni Morales bossing, parang mga blogger ata nag suggest niyan, iba yung banat ni Morales bossing, this is in connection sa isang kaso na ikinaso sa kanya, nakasuhan siya dahil he testified sa court against PDEA during the hearing ng ganitong mga kaso following a PDEA operation, hindi niya din pwede gamitin ang srgument na yan since wala na siya sa PDEA during the vangag administration

it is because ganitong klasing mga kaso ang ginagawa ng PDEA in which hindi na kinaya ni Morales ang mga tanim kaso kaya siya nag testify against PDEA sa court, pag ganito kasi boss yung mga agents na nagha-handle nito ay need mag testify sa court about sa huli nila
